Gwyneth Paltrow once again graces the cover & has a fabulous photo shoot in the magazine Harper’s Bazaar for the March 2012 issue. Looking lovely as ever!
Bringing her beauty to the forefront, Gwyneth Paltrow covers the March 2012 issue of Harper’s Bazaar.
The black-outfit clad Oscar-winning actress worked her magic for the Terry Richardson shot spread while speaking with the magazine about topics including good pal Beyonce and living in the UK.
Harper’s Bazaar, the oldest fashion magazine in the U.S, has undergone it’s first major renovation in a decade, prompted by a 12 percent decrease in ad sales last year. Bazaar daringly debuts their redesign in the March 2012 issue with Gwyneth Paltrow and a subscriber’s cover that masks Paltrow’s biggest money-maker: her face.
Paltrow stands statuesque in a revealing floor-length black dress, by new designer Anthony Vaccarello, with her face veiled by her long blonde waves. “It’s a very daring thing to do, where you don’t immediately see her face.” Glenda Bailey, Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar told WWD.
However, the newsstand version will be more familiar to readers as it features Paltrow head-on, smiling, and surrounded by teaser headlines. This clever two-different-covers for the newsstand and subscribers approach, was the brainchild of Bailey herself, and one of the many major changes that comes along with the redesign, which was first announced as a plan this past November.
The new Harper’s Bazaar will be a compromise between old favorite attributes and new additions, as well as a significantly lengthier and less-cluttered magazine. The redesign is thicker by one inch, boasts a higher-quality paper, new typography and a sleeker look due to tighter editing and utilizing white space.

Seems like Gwyneth’s taken a break from buying presents for Baby Blue Ivy or furiously tapping out Goop newsletters to resume her position as the face of Coach. Here’s a first look at the Oscar-winning actresses breezy shoot for the heritage handbag’s Spring 2012 collection.
It’s the second time Gwyneth, known for her discerning fashion tastes, has represented Coach in campaigns. Like the last shots, these were taken by the legendary Peter Lindbergh in New York. Gwyneth is shown posing with the Willis and Madison Lindsey bags – two of her personal favourites, it’s said.
Coach was founded in 1941 in a New York loft and has steadily become the go-to accessory brand for New Yorkers. So it perhaps wasn’t a huge surprise when the brand tapped up Gwyneth last year to represent them for their 70th birthday celebrations. She was born in the Big Apple and has just released a Goop travel guide to the city, showing her most loved shopping, eating and drinking haunts, which has already become a besteller on iTunes.
Coach’s senior vice president Jason Weisenfeld has said of the actress, ‘Gywneth embodies American style and spirit around the globe.’ And it seems his opinion hasn’t changed today. ‘Our Spring 2012 collection is all about the enduring spirit and style of New York City so who better to represent that than Gwyneth. As a brilliantly talented actress, innovative businesswoman, global style icon and dedicated mother, she really has it all.’ You can say that again…

Gwyneth Paltrow shares family recipes from her cookbook during the one-hour special Out of Character With Krista Smith, which premieres TOMORROW (January 11) on USA Network @ 11PM ET.
The 39-year-old actress shares what may surprise people about her. “I am very into S&M,” she joked. “Just kidding. I think I’m kinda what I seem. I probably do have a dirtier sense of humor than most people would think. It comes from my dad. It was fun to shock my mother.”

Goop.com
This latest venture, called GOOP City, became available on iPhones and iPads today for $3.99. Like everything else GOOP, it’s nothing if not universal (if you fit any of the three conditions above). The iOS app will offer tips on restaurants, bars, shopping, walking tours, and more. For now, GOOP City will focus on New York City, though more cities will be GOOPified in coming months. Paltrow described the app as “a trusted friend,” explaining that she was inspired by “years of being steered in the wrong direction by bribed concierges, biased opinions, and just plain bad suggestions.”

Congratulations to Chris Martin & Gwyneth Paltrow
December 5th, 2003
8 Years
The Beijing party in the city’s hip 798 art zone may have been in honor of Coach’s 70th anniversary, but the real star of the show was Gwyneth Paltrow’s ability to belt out hits.
Taking the stage midway through a lavish dinner, Paltrow sang three songs accompanied by a three-piece band, ending with Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You.”
The party, which featured an Italian feast for several hundred guests, was held at the Iberia Center for Contemporary Arts, part of the city’s rapidly growing region for artists, designer boutiques and cafes.
Paltrow wore a one-shoulder, skintight minidress designed by Stella McCartney, and sat near one of China’s well-known celebrities, Bao Bao Wan, the jewelry designer and granddaughter of Wan Li, one of the country’s former vice premiers. Guests included several of the artists who created photographic displays for the Coach exhibit, including filmmaker Steven Sebring, best known for his documentary on rocker Patti Smith, “The Dream of Life.” For the Coach exhibit, Sebring said he shot his film of a young woman running through the streets of New York City with a large Coach bag flung over her shoulder on a 16-mm. camera in just three hours.
Sebring commented on the “energy” of Beijing but admitted he was put off by the air pollution. When he landed at the airport, he asked a woman accompanying him, “What is that smell?”
The dinner, created by chef and Paltrow friend Mario Batali — who was not in Beijing — included fried zucchini blossoms, butternut squash tortellini, short ribs in barolo, and a ricotta pudding cake.
